EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION SYSTEM
- Weightage Is Given To Both Written As Well As Oral Assessments
- Nursery and KG: The students of Nursery and KG are closely observed and periodically assessed on their Physical and Motor Development, Motor Coordination, Personal, Social, Language and Cognitive Development. Grades are given for the same.
- Primary
Classes I to II:
Grades will be given after the evaluation. The personal and social development of students is assessed through a number of co-curricular activities incorporated in the curriculum .The students will be graded for participation and performance in the non-scholastic activities.
Classes III to V:
The new evaluation pattern prescribed by CBSE is followed as given below.
It is designed on Term Assessment basis with gradual increase in the learning assessment ensuring the quality of education. For the holistic development of the students, both scholastic and co scholastic areas are assessed.
- Examination for classes III to VII will consist of two terms i.e. Term 1 and Term 2 and the evaluation scheme will be as explained below:
- Periodic test -10% marks
- Notebook submission -5 marks
- Subject Enrichment -5 marks
- Written exam for 80

exam - Periodic test - 10% marks
- Notebook submission -5 marks
- Subject Enrichment- 5 marks

coverage as below: - Notebook Maintenance (5 marks) :Before each term exam notebook maintenance will be evaluated based on the following parameters
- Regularity
- Assignment completion
- Neatness and Upkeep of notebooks
- Subject Enrichment Activities (5 marks)
Subject Enrichment Activities comprises various techniques like ASL/Reading/dictation/Debate/Public Speaking etc for Languages, Lab Activities/ Projects/Map Work/Model Making /Field Trips etc for other subjects.
- Scheme for the evaluation is given in the school almanac.
- No retest will be conducted for any exam.
